Omadi is a fast-growing tech startup in Lehi, Utah which has affectionately been dubbed “Silicon Slopes.” Founded in 2013, it has grown from a basement dev shop to what it is now, commanding high valuations from some of the most respected venture capital firms.

The Academy for Creating Enterprise is a non-profit organization based in Provo, UT that teaches micro-enterprise education to students in the Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, and Utah. Currently, there are over 24,000 student graduates of the program. The Academy was founded by Steve and Bette Gibson with the intent to alleviate poverty through necessity entrepreneurship. The core program of The Academy is a five-week course that teaches basic business principles. Additionally, there are regional courses and alumni meetings for graduates of The Academy. Training within the program combines hands-on-experience with classroom instruction to solidify business principles in the minds of students. The Academy is funded through private donations.
