ReAx is a Chicago-based, pre-clinical company that is applying next generation chemical proteomic platforms to discover, optimize and validate small molecules directly in cells. The ReAx pipeline enables interrogation of proteomic ‘dark matter’ – a landscape that is rarely studied, much less exploited for ligand discovery against high-value protein targets. By integrating our platforms with innovative chemistry, disease biology, and computational methods, we hope to deliver first-in-class therapeutics in oncology and immunological disease indications.

We sequence proteins. Glyphic Biotechnologies is a biotechnology startup revolutionizing the field of proteomics. While DNA can reveal biological insights, proteins actually tell us what our bodies will do. We are developing a first-of-its-kind, next-generation protein sequencing platform to enable researchers to gain novel insights into biology and disease.

OMX Ventures is a venture capital firm focused on investing in a new era of bioengineering and its application for better tools, medicines, foods, industrial products, and more. We specialize in early-stage investments at the intersection of biology, big data, and AI, with a focus on therapeutics, bio tools, diagnostics, and synthetic biology platforms. We aim to help founders build strong teams, overcome key technical challenges in their first two years of operations, and grow into successful commercial enterprises. Before founding OMX, our partners invested early in successful biotech companies like 10X Genomics (TXG), Twist Bioscience (TWST), Ginkgo Bioworks (DNA), and QuantaLife (now part of Bio-Rad - BIO).

Enara Bio is shining a light on Dark Antigen and T-cell biology to develop cancer immunotherapies designed to improve treatment outcomes for broad populations of cancer patients with solid tumors. Our pioneering EDAPT® platform enables us to discover cancer-specific antigens from previously uncharted genomic ‘dark matter’. The result is a growing library of Dark Antigens that can address the need for novel, cancer-specific targets in solid tumors. Through our proprietary EnTiCE platform, Enara is developing novel bispecific T cell engagers against Dark Antigen targets that are highly prevalent and homogenously expressed across solid tumors. Our partner, Boehringer Ingelheim, is combining multiple licensed Dark Antigens to create novel immunotherapies. Based in Oxford, UK, Enara Bio is backed by a strong syndicate of life science investors including RA Capital, Pfizer Ventures, M Ventures, Samsara BioCapital, SV Health Investors, and the Francis Crick Institute.
