ForClass --www.forclass.com -- is a cloud-based fully integrative platform that significantly increases professors’ effectiveness in and out of the classroom. The tool provides professors with better visual and analytical tools that help professors gain insights into the patterns of students responses to pre-class assignment, and to use these data in the classroom in order to facilitate an engaging discussion, using the response patterns of the class as a whole as well as the specific responses by specific students. This results in increased engagement and improved learning outcomes – all while reducing the time and effort professors spend preparing for class.
ForClass improves student learning outcomes while reducing the time and effort professors spend preparing for class. The ForClass solution reduces faculty burden, allowing professors to outsource mundane tasks to TA’s on-demand, as well as providing a repository of learning content with data about their usage and effectiveness. Once the course content is created, it is automatically uploaded to the For Class interactive SaaS platform to improve learning outcomes through data driven teaching.
Launched only a year ago, the solution is currently being used at more than 80 institutions, in schools like Columbia, NYU, Kellogg, Rice, UT Austin and others by more than 25,000 students in business, law, sociology and psychology courses and the feedback has been extremely positive.
