re:invent security, co-founded by Irfaan and Jeroen, is a convergence point for seasoned professionals in the information security realm. Our initiative stems from a critical observation: while numerous organizations have navigated the intricate cycle of information security, only a select few have truly deciphered what works after decades of trial and error. Regrettably, many small to medium-sized organizations continue to employ outdated and ineffective security practices, not having endured the extensive learning curve that their larger counterparts have. Our podcast aims to bridge this gap by leveraging the knowledge and successes of those adeptly maneuvered through the cybersecurity landscape. Through engaging conversations with Thought Leaders, Veterans, and Transformational Figures in the field, "re:invent security" offers a platform to share invaluable insights and practical strategies for effective security management. Irfaan and Jeroen, each boasting over 15 years of experience in roles spanning security consulting, leadership, executive positions, and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) responsibilities, are at the forefront of a vital movement within the information security industry. Their shared commitment is to catalyze a pivotal dialogue that challenges the status quo, advocating for a transformation in how security is perceived and implemented. Join us on this enlightening journey as we explore the experiences and teachings of those at the forefront of security innovation, equipping you with the knowledge and inspiration to reimagine your approach to security. Whether youre a small organization aiming to enhance your security posture or an individual eager to stay at the cutting edge of the information security field, "re:invent security" is your essential resource for actionable insights and progressive solutions.

Welcome to the home of the OWASP Security Champions Guide Project! Our goal is to create an open-source, vendor-neutral guidebook for AppSec professionals to help them build and improve their own successful Security Champion programs. One size will not fit all – so this playbook is designed for you to pick and choose the elements your organization can adopt or leverage to create your own customized program. We will provide customizable artifacts that can be used to start or improve your program. It doesn’t stop there! As your program matures, the playbook will provide you with next steps and new factors for consideration to further empower your program and your champions. To make this happen, our project team is interviewing security leaders, program coordinators, and security champions to establish what makes a successful program. Participants represent a range of company sizes, industries, geographies, and also different levels of security program maturity. We want to know what works, what doesn’t work, what promotes success, and what leads to failure. We are looking for more participants to take part in this exciting project. Whatever your experience of Security Champions programs – good or bad – we want to hear from you! Website https://owasp.org/www-project-security-champions-guidebook/
