The mission of IPO-Porto is to offer timely and patient focused healthcare, as well as prevention, research, training and education in the scope of Oncology, assuring high quality, humanism and efficiency levels. IPO-Porto has 11 clinics and 26 services entirely at the patient’s disposal. Divided by specialization areas, the clinics and services provide customized treatment, close to the user and its family, so that each step of the treatment is clearly and consciously followed. At IPO-Porto, each patient is unique and enjoys all the necessary resources and treatments to solve his/her problem.

O IPO-Porto tem como missão a prestação de cuidados de saúde, em tempo útil, centrada no doente, bem como, a prevenção, a investigação, a formação e o ensino no domínio da oncologia, garantindo elevados níveis de qualidade, humanismo e eficiência.

O CHVNGE pretende ser reconhecido como hospital de referência no Sistema de Saúde pela eficiência, responsabilidade, sustentabilidade e inovação na prestação de cuidados de saúde, ambicionando a diferenciação e criação de valor em saúde, conjugando as atividades de ensino e investigação e fomentando a formação pré e pós-graduada. Tem por missão a melhoria da qualidade de saúde da população, prestando cuidados de saúde diferenciados, em articulação com vários níveis de cuidados e com a rede do Serviço Nacional de Saúde (SNS), no respeito pela dignidade e individualidade do utente. É, ainda, missão do CHVNGE criar condições de excelência à captação, manutenção e desenvolvimento dos seus colaboradores.
