HIFK Fotboll is the football section of HIFK (Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna rf, Helsingfors), the most well known and one of the oldest professional sports clubs in Finland. The main club was established in 1897 and football activities started in 1907. In 2023 the first team plays in Ykkönen (national 2nd tier league). Their home games are played at Bolt Arena. HIFK has won seven national championships in football (1930, 1931, 1933, 1937, 1947, 1959 and 1961) and fostered many great players such as Åke Lindman, Anders Westerholm, Matti Paatelainen, Calle Ekman and Pekka Hämäläinen.
