Bristol + Bath Creative R+D is a new partnership designed to improve the performance of the Creative Industries in the Bristol and Bath region. The partners are UWE, Watershed, and the Universities of Bath, Bristol and Bath Spa, working with a range of industry partners from Film & Television, Theatre, Publishing, Computing and beyond. The Bristol + Bath Creative R+D Cluster will support its business partners in finding new ways to engage the audiences of the future in new market places. Our R&D-led productions will lead the cluster into the future, engaging with emergent technologies, boosting inward investment and developing a diverse new talent base to lead the cluster's creative industries in the next ten years. Our core proposition is partnering with industry in understanding user engagement in new platforms. We will be working at the sites where 5G connectivity, XR technologies and live arts overlap. Our programme is structured around a Fellowship programme leading five Pathfinders that create new interdisciplinary productions that can develop new markets for our partner creative businesses. The programme is designed to offer many points of contact and collaboration for industry partners that will produce several different kinds of impact for a range of different service users, participants, companies and individuals. We are developing a triple bottom line impact proposition that includes a central commitment to inclusion. We aim to make creative technology innovation available to a far widest possible cross section of talent. Our goal is to lay the foundations for the Bristol + Bath cluster to be internationally successful by 2030.

The Museums Association exists to enhance the value of museums to society by sharing knowledge, developing skills, inspiring innovation, and providing leadership. We advocate for museums, set ethical standards and run essential training and professional development for members wishing to further their careers. Our annual conference is Europe's largest event for museum and heritage professionals. We are the oldest museums association in the world, set up in 1889 to guard the interests of museums and galleries. Today we are still independently funded by our membership, which is made of up museum professionals, institutions and commercial members.
