Our innovative solution gives people a place to work, a place to live, and a place that makes money. We have learned from the mistakes of others, and overcome the three critical obstacles to home ownership: affordability, quality and financing. Quality: The DomoGeo house is architect-designed, fire retardant, can withstand winds of 127mph and earthquakes of 8.5. Water catchment and filtration, mosquito netting and other features improve health and boost productivity. Affordability: Mix-use designs support home-based microenterprise, so the house can actually pay for itself. The DomoGeo house generates income at the same time as building an asset. Construction time reduced by 80%, and cost cut by 30%. Financing: Basic house can be paid for outright in 1-3 years. Shorter terms and smaller loan amounts (20-30% loan:income ratio) control lending risk, reduce client indebtedness and increase affordability.
