Minor Ventures provided executive coaching, investments, staffing, and administrative support to the following: 8020 Publishing (now 8020 Media) — Produces the hybrid web/print magazines JPG Mag and Everywhere. GrandCentral — Sold to Google in 2007 for $65 million and later became Google Voice. Kareo — Delivers cloud-based software for independent practices to provide better patient care. OpenDNS — Hired management including CEO David Ulevitch and funded company through to profitability. Acquired by Cisco in 2015 for $635 million and later became Cisco Umbrella. Scout Labs — Sold to Lithium Technologies in 2010 for $20+ million.
