The Productivity Institute, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), brings together world-leading experts from a range of disciplines and backgrounds. We work directly with policymakers and businesses to better understand, measure, and enable improvements in productivity across the whole of the UK, with the aim of improving living standards and well-being.

NHS Dumfries & Galloway is a regional health board responsible for protecting, improving and providing health and care services to the people of Dumfries & Galloway. We serve a population of 140,000 people spread across 2,400 square miles and deliver a range of health and care services from over 50 bases across the region. We employ approximately 4,500 staff from a range of different clinical and non-clinical backgrounds. Regional Screen Scotland is the development agency for access to the cinemagoing experience throughout Scotland. The company provides information services to cinemas and film festivals as well as managing funding programmes devolved by Creative Scotland. The company owns and operates the flagship mobile digital cinema Screen Machine which is a state of the art 2k DCI compliant 3D equipped air conditioned 80-seat modern cinema - it also happens to be a 35 ton articulated lorry, which provides a programme of new release films to rural and remote communities in the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

Creative Scotland is the public body that supports the arts, screen and creative industries across all parts of Scotland on behalf of everyone who lives, works or visits here. We do this through funding, development, advocacy and influence and we distribute funding from the Scottish Government and the National Lottery.
