Lovely Day Foods (LDF) is a food biotech company redesigning how animal proteins are being made. By harnessing the power of microorganisms, LDF sustainably cultivates high-performing recombinant proteins that are nature-equivalent, GMO-free and 100% mimic the functionalities and flavors of animal proteins. We are the makers of Perfeggt, LDF’s product brand, that launched the first generation of plant-based egg replacers in 2022. Together with over 50 food service partners who put Perfeggt on their menu, LDF replaced more than one million chicken eggs with Perfeggt scrambled, omelets, tortillas, quiches, pancakes and waffles. #TheEggWithoutTheHen Our goal is to decouple food production from traditional agriculture, to minimize its environmental impact and create a kinder future for our planet.
