We have developed an improved Monocyte Activation Test (MAT) for pyrogen testing. The MAT serves as the replacement for the Rabbit Pyrogen Test and can be used to test parenteral drugs for endotoxin and non-endotoxin contaminations. Our technology uses cryopreserved pooled PBMC. This has made it possible to develop a MAT with both high sensitivity and robustness, ensuring reliability in the field. MAT uses human blood cells to test for a fever reaction, mimicking the human immune reaction.The MAT serves as the replacement for the Rabbit Pyrogen Test and can be used to test parenteral drugs for endotoxin and non-endotoxin contaminations.
