The World Trade Symposium is the central point for leaders in the global trade and supply chain ecosystem to connect, collaborate and reimagine the marketplaces of tomorrow. The Symposium brings together global and regional leaders in business, finance, technology, government, supply-chain, policy, economics and non-profit organisations to inspire, educate, and foster the future of connected commerce. The objective is to improve people’s lives through open, sustainable and inclusive trade. Established in 2016 by Finastra and advised by the World Trade Board – comprising leading global visionaries, thought-leaders and industry experts from a range of diverse backgrounds – the program comprises: An exclusive annual Symposium event - where government, business, technology and policy leaders, together with c-level executives combine the latest ‘big ideas’ with practical perspectives to deepen industry insight and address today’s global trade issues and opportunities. World Trade Webinars which explore in detail a key aspect of trade, finance, technology or policy, together with its impact on society, to bring new perspectives and solutions. World Trade Views is a platform where thought-leadership and innovative ideas in trade are combined with commentary from World Trade Board members on current trade, finance, technology and policy topics. By looking at the world of trade from multiple angles and ensuring a diversity of voices from many disciplines and industries, this thought-provoking, executive-level program is a unique opportunity for leaders to gain the latest insights, deepen relationships and establish new partnerships with peers and market influencers – to shape the future of trade for the benefit of all
