Northern Michigan Angels is an angel investment organization of local volunteer members focused on private sector investment and economic development. The group's primary interest is in providing investment capital and expertise to scalable entrepreneurial companies whose potential success will have an impact on economic growth and the quality of life in Michigan, especially in Northwestern Lower Michigan. We welcome the participation of like-minded individuals and organizations in this pursuit.

With a focus on revitalizing under-managed and under-occupied manufactured housing communities, Manitou Communities is adding vital housing options to our local economies, as well as safe, desirable community environments for its residents. Manitou Communities is in the early stages of their mission to provide much-needed housing inventory throughout Michigan. Plans for communities in Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Antrim, and Kalkaska are all underway, with communities in Grand Traverse and Benzie counties currently under management. With over 100 home sites under management and a goal of managing 500 home sites by the end of 2021, Manitou Communities is taking a meaningful step towards addressing housing needs throughout the region.
