Bay FC’s mission is to build the most valuable women’s soccer club in the world that is player-led, fan focused and positively impacts the community through promoting diversity, equality, inclusion by uniting the Bay and the world through the game of soccer. Co-founded by U.S. Women’s National Team legends Brandi Chastain, Leslie Osborne, Danielle Slaton and Aly Wagner, Bay FC was formed by the largest institutional investment ever made in women’s professional soccer from global investment firm Sixth Street. Our team of planning, design, and development experts is led by renowned visionary and urban planner, Janet Marie Smith, who pioneered the renaissance of urban sports across the US, and her partner Fran Weld, whose work at the intersection of real estate, public policy, and sports has earned national recognition. Rooted in their unique approaches to individual teams and cities, and legendary commitment to details, we deliver iconic spaces of passion and pride.
