ArcAngels is a member-based angel investment organisation focused on building investor knowledge and dedicated to investing in early stage businesses that are led or managed by women across New Zealand. We believe that ArcAngels will empower women entrepreneurs, strengthen their competitiveness and maximise the success of New Zealand’s small business engine for greater economic growth in the long term. We hope to inspire the seasoned investor – men and women – to invest in women-led and managed businesses and also attract new investors that can actively participate and bring to bear tangible value to the success of New Zealand’s women-managed businesses and financial returns for members over time. ​

Ice Angels was formed in 2004 by five founding members and The Icehouse to enable members to invest collaboratively into Kiwi startups. Ice Angels grew to be among the most active angel investment networks globally comprising over 200 entrepreneurs, executives, and professional investors investing >$10m per year. Ice Angels operation as an independent club was discontinued in 2020 with many of the members becoming active investors in the Icehouse Ventures community.
