The Cannabis Distribution Association (CDA) represents a diverse group of cannabis distributors. In California, our members distribute over 30% of licensed cannabis products sold statewide. Beyond California, we have a growing presence nationwide by way of the CDA Interstate Task Force. We welcome participation in the task force from representatives of state-specific cannabis trade organizations. Since 2016, we have been a critical stakeholder in cannabis policy, advocating for solutions that ensure the economic viability for small business, promote supply chain integrity, and prioritize consumer safety. CDA, formerly the CGA Distribution & Transportation Committee, was formed in 2016 as a partner organization to California Growers Association (CGA).

The California Growers Association is a statewide membership organization focused on information, community, and advocacy. In the last few years, CalGrowers has quickly become one of the state’s most prominent cannabis voices in the state. Taking an inclusive approach to membership, the organization is the largest association of cannabis growers and business owners in the state. Our success is made possible by hard work and a strategic approach to public policy that includes several key assets: 1) An active and engaged grassroots base of supporters--farmers, business owners, and cannabis consumers that work together to raise the profile of high priority issues and explore potential solutions. 2) A strong, statewide network of partners. 3) A robust Board of Directors that represents a statewide community of members and sponsors--farmers, business owners, attorneys and consultants that work together to identify issues and work collaboratively to develop solutions. 4) Professional and full time team in Sacramento 5) The California Growers Association has been active in the legislative process since late 2014. Our team has negotiated amendments, testified in legislative committees and worked with more than a dozen regulatory agencies.
