Lyte, the technology platform reimagining e-commerce for live events, has acquired the Festicket and Event Genius assets in a move that represents an exciting coming together of services and team worldwide, bringing much-needed solutions to the global promoter community. The Festicket and Event Genius asset acquisition enables Lyte to offer comprehensive, fan-friendly ecommerce solutions for live events anywhere on earth alongside a broad expansion of technology and services. Who are Lyte? In 2012, Lyte founder Ant Taylor attended a sold-out Olympic Games event with half-empty stands while hundreds of desperate fans stood outside seeking tickets. Inspired by this experience, Ant created Lyte to allow fans to easily return tickets they couldnt use and help other fans get verified tickets to events of their dreams.
