Hydrocell was founded in 2019 by visionaries Karl Manfredi, Federico Giudiceandrea, and Walter Huber. Years ago, Huber had already established the first hydrogen production and refueling station in Europe, located in Bolzano, marking a significant milestone in the industry. With over 25 years of experience in the hydrogen sector, this passion has now taken shape in Hydrocell, a cutting-edge company in the field. Hydrocell is a system integrator, dedicated to the development of integrated systems for the production, distribution, storage, and use of hydrogen. The Vision is: MAKING SHIPPING & TRANSPORT CO2-FREE WITH THE HELP OF HYDROGEN. The companys primary focus is the creation of the first certified hydrogen powertrain with the own developed control unit. Among the most exciting areas is the maritime sector, highlighted by the refitting project of the fishing boat Nobody’s Perfect, a historic 17-meter vessel built in 1978 in Bordeaux. Nobody’s Perfect will be the first to host a hydrogen engine managed by a control unit designed by Hydrocell, representing a significant milestone for the industry.

Classic Boats Venice was born from the idea that you should be able to experience a beautiful cultural landscape and travel in a beautiful way. Just like the lagoon of Venice! Classic Boats Venice offers two lines for such an idea in the 2019 season: Classic Boats Venice - bareboat charter and the new segment Classic Boats Venice - Vintage Selection. Bareboat-Charter As bareboat charter boats, we use only typical Venetian wooden boats built in the lagoon and equipped with modern, environmentally friendly electric Torqeedo®. These are rented day or hourly to self-drivers. A boating license is not required! Vintage Selection With the start of the season in 2019, Classic Boats Venice - Vintage Selection offers event and adventure trips through the lagoon with driver and, if necessary, tour guide on three very different, historic boats, which are briefly presented on the following pages. Our tour program combines a selection of routes through the lagoon based on different themes: culinary, cultural and history, and nature; where the enjoyment or the nature experience are in the foreground. In addition, we offer customized tours according to customer requirements. Vintage Selection – The Boats What sets the boats of our Vintage Selection apart from almost all other boats? - Our boats are an example of the sophisticated craftsmanship in traditional wooden boat construction and an expression associated with form and style. Each of our Vintage Selection boats has its own distinct charm and is the appropriate one depending on the tour, the number of people and the experience.
