As of today, the digital innovations of the start-ups supported by the project have reached around 1.1 million users. So far, SAIS has worked with over 80 start-ups from over 21 countries. The focus is on African start-ups in the seed and growth phases. Over the course of a year, start-ups receive a tailored Investment Readiness Programme (IRP) to build capacity in areas such as marketing, financial management, or legal to become more attractive to investors and business partners, and receive further funding.
