The Common Market is a nonprofit wholesale food distributor that is successfully building sustainable regional food systems that strengthen the health and wealth of all people. By building relationships between sustainable family farms and markets in their region, we are strengthening our communities’ health, environment, and local economies. We build the supply chain and we partner with both farmers and customers from procurement through delivery, so that schools, hospitals, cities, and businesses can realize the full value of a healthy food system. We’ve helped more than 300 sustainable family farms deliver over 58 million meals worth of food to community institutions. KTC is a collective of entrepreneurs passionate about the local food and farming community. Our goal is simple—to help farmers, artisans, and food system businesses build lasting, profitable, locally-focused operations. We work with farmers, food brands, manufacturers, distributors, hubs, grocers, nonprofits, and more, from start-ups to multi-million dollar operations. With years of experience as farmers and food business owners, our team of service providers across the U.S. has already helped over 700 businesses strengthen the food system for current and future generations.

Foodshed Investors exists to: Increase the Supply of Good, Local & Food ​ We try to accomplish this by: - enabling mission-driven, for- and non-profit entrepreneurs in creating healthy, nutritious, and accessible food; - building robust regional food systems, particularly for the benefit of underserved communities; - re-invigorating rural economies via sustainable agriculture and quality jobs; - making progress toward a stable climate, healthy soils, and humanely treated animals.​​ We do this by "Investing", not just in the most common, monetary sense, but also using the broader definition: "devote (ones time, effort, or energy) to a particular undertaking with the expectation of a worthwhile result."
