The Financial Markets Institute (FMI) at Michigan State University is a professional finance development program in the Eli Broad College of Business for students that intend to pursue careers in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Equity Research, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Venture Capital. This exceptionally competitive program identifies the top 1% of students after an extensive interviewing and financial technical examination campaign. Upon acceptance to FMI each student participates in a rigorous ten-week educational program designed to maximize their financial literacy, technical skills, interpersonal communication skills, and overall professionalism.
