Svenskt vattenbruk och sjömat ekonomisk förening är en branschförening för företag som odlar eller skördar musslor, ostron, alger och andra marina råvaror i havet eller på land. Företag som processar och förädlar dessa råvaror ingår också i föreningen, samt de som förmedlar kunskap i form av events och liknande. Vår bransch förutsätter ett friskt hav och ett rimligt uttag av havets råvaror på ett hållbart sätt för miljön och för kollegor i branschen. Föreningen arbetar med frågor som ska förbättra villkoren för odling i havet och vild skörd, och göra det enklare och mer hållbart att bedriva företag inom vattenbruk.

It all started as an enviromental project, to clean oceans with blue mussels. But when that worked it didn´t stop there. By using farmed blue mussels and side-streams from the mussel industry as raw material, we now can offer a blue mussel powder. The powder is used for a variety of products; from supplements with documented health benefits to tasty seafood snacks, pet food and much more The super-nutritious blue mussel powder has a shelf-time of at least a year. We are looking for cooperation partners interested in sustainable and climate smart processes and products within the health and nutrition sectors. Just give us a call.
