We are pioneers in the development of a patent-pending process for texturizing plant proteins called "umisation". With our umisation technology, we can recreate the meat and fish fillet experience without compromising on taste and texture. After opening our first pilot plant innovation center last year, Umiami will inaugurate its first large-scale production plant in October 2023. The 14,000m2 site is located in Duppigheim, France, close to the German border, and will have a production capacity of 7,500 tonnes per year with one production line.
