Stichting Wetenschap Balans is een kennisorganisatie met als hoofddoelstelling expertise te ontwikkelen op relevante kennisdomeinen ten behoeve van de zorgpraktijken, waardoor kwetsbare ouderen en mantelzorgers zo zelfstandig mogelijk hun leven op een eigen manier kunnen vormgeven ("een leven met kleur") en deel kunnen blijven uitmaken van de samenleving. Vanuit deze expertise beidt Balans diensten aan voor onderzoek, onderwijs en organisatieadvies op het gebied van preventie, behandeling, revalidatie, zorg en welzijn van kwetsbare ouderen. Stichting Wetenschap Balans is a non-profit foundation that aims to create, translate and disseminate existing scientific evidence and best practices into practical applications that are meaningful for frail elderly and their informal caregivers. We are working closely together with national and international partners and advisors, both in science and health care, to create lasting implementation strategies.
