A HBSAAB, associação sem fins lucrativos, foi fundada em 2012 por ex-alunos brasileiros da Harvard Business School interessados em investir capital financeiro e promover capital intelectual em novas empresas. Ela integra a rede Harvard Business School Alumni Angels, que teve início em 2007. A instituição é aberta a todos os alumni de Harvard Business School.
