ADC is a NZ-based charity that provides funding and technical support to locally owned and operated microfinance projects in Myanmar & Malawi. Our core purpose is to reduce poverty through microfinance. What we do Most of us take access to credit for granted. Yet it is not accessible to everyone. Many people in poor communities are industrious, resourceful and entrepreneurial. To rise above their situation, they need access to capital and a bit of support. We provide both. ADC’s microfinance initiatives empower people to break the cycle of poverty through business development. Who we are ADC is driven by a dynamic group of dedicated and passionate young professionals who have skills including economics, accounting, law, medicine and engineering. The majority of them are volunteers, and all have a collective desire to empower people through microfinance. Our members ADC members contribute regularly to a common fund which is then used to support locally-managed projects in partner communities overseas. Members are involved beyond simply making donations, and are encouraged to engage actively in decision-making that guides the Operations and Executive Committee. Our goal We are aiming to grow the microfinance bank in Myanmar to 10,000 clients and continue to work towards sustainability with our new partner project in Malawi.

Sense.Partners is a boutique consultancy. We are experienced economists with backgrounds in modelling, public policy, regulatory affairs and economic assessments. We use strong logical thinking, data and evidence to get to the nub of issues, and go beyond 'what' to 'why and so what'. We strive to do this to a new level of rigour, relevance and usefulness. We use economics as one of our key tools, but are open-minded, and able to partner with experts in a variety of fields.

FulQrum intends to establish a crowdfunding platform for property development. A FMA licence is currently being sought. It is the only crowdfunding platform for property developers to connect with a range of investors to fund their projects. FulQrum focuses on projects valued between $2 million and $10 million. We provide a platform to raise capital for property development as well as all the expertise required to complete a development project successfully, such as planners, engineering, architects, builders, accountants and lawyers. For example, someone interested in subdividing a piece of land, but who does not have the knowledge, is able to go to fulQrum and seek a total solution. An experienced developer, who may struggle to raise the funds alone, may also seek competitive form of funding from fulQrum to get the project off the ground. Property developers benefit by getting the cheapest form of an initial deposit for a project and access to the expertise needed to complete the project successfully. FulQrum investors enjoy armchair investment with high returns in a relatively low risk environment due to high levels of due diligence. The money is invested into property, which has a history of increasing in value. For some investors, this will be the only opportunity they have to invest in property and this may help them towards saving a deposit for their own home. We contribute to solving the problem of unaffordable housing. The quality homes that we build improve the lifestyle and health of the people living in them.
