The hot test has been accomplished in record time and the next step is to build the Eiger launch vehicle - rocket. The Eiger launch vehicle is planned to be validated upon successful completion of sub-orbital and orbital flights. Once validated the Pythom Space Transportation System with Eiger has the ambition to start serving the small satellite segment with commercial & military payloads up to 500kg placed in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The small satellite segment is very lucrative with over 60,000 satellites expected to be launched during the 2020s - currently less than 1000 are launched every year due to lack of low cost launchers. Small rocket launchers are predicted to become a €30bn market by 2027 according to Fortue Business Insights. The ambition of Pythom does not stop at low earth orbit when you have famous Swedish polar explorers and adventurers Tina Sjögren and Tom Sjögren as founders and at the helm.
