SquadS ventures is a distinctive company builder focusing on the creation of sustainable and bootstrapped startups. Our model is centered on developing a portfolio of 20 high-growth potential B2B SaaS startups, characterized by their efficient use of resources. With a collective experience of 90 years in entrepreneurship, bootstrapping, fundraising, learning from both successes and failures, our team of four founders brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Our experience extends to angel investing and participation within a Venture Capital (VC) firm, equipping us with a comprehensive understanding of the startup ecosystem. For Investors: Our model focuses on Early Exits, aiming for a 6x return for initial investors and a return of the initial capital in less than four years. ORIGEN Tiene su origen en las primeras épocas de la colonia (en marzo de 1600 el cabildo porteño impuso a un pulpero una multa de 8 pesos por haberle vendido vino a indios y negros). Una pulpería era, hasta inicios del siglo XX, el establecimiento comercial típico de las distintas regiones de Hispanoamérica, encontrándose ampliamente extendida desde Centroamérica hasta los países Cono Sur. Su origen data de mediados del siglo XVI y proveía todo lo que entonces era indispensable para la vida cotidiana: comida, bebidas, velas, carbón, remedios y telas, entre otros. UN CENTRO SOCIAL También era el centro social de las clases sociales humildes y medias de la población; allí se reunían los personajes típicos de cada región a conversar y enterarse de las novedades. Las pulperías eran lugares donde se podía tomar bebidas alcohólicas y además se realizaban peleas de gallos, se jugaba a los dados, a los naipes. Los establecimientos eran una viva expresión de la cultura local, como en el caso rioplatense, en donde solían contar con una o dos guitarras para que los gauchos "guitarreasen" y cantasen; o se organizaran payadas y bailes entre los parroquianos. La ubicación era casi obligadamente en una esquina, al igual que las que se instalaban a campo abierto, también así luego sucedió en la ciudad. La pulpería ciudadana, no tenía reja alguna, a diferencia de la campestre, que tenía una del piso al techo, y que contaba con un mostrador de un mínimo de un metro de ancho para resguardar la seguridad del pulpero, que quedaba, de esta forma, fuera del alcance de los cuchillos de los borrachos enardecidos. EL RENACIMIENTO Hoy, en esta esquina de Av. del Libertador y Mitre, en el barrio de Martinez, partido de San Isidro, rememoramos el significado y los valores de aquellas históricas pulperias: buena comida, bebidas espirituosas, la música y cultura para disfrutar junto los seres queridos.
