Connectivity Traumatic Brain Injury Australia is an Australian-wide not-for-profit organisation working to raise awareness of traumatic brain injury (TBI) of all severities including concussion in the community. We link together patients, carers, researchers, clinicians and health care providers to build the evidence base and improve outcomes for people following TBI of all severities. Founded in 2014, the Observership Program facilitates the involvement of talented, energetic and diverse individuals with a wide range of skills and backgrounds in a structure experience on not-for-profit boards. It is a powerful tool to engage emerging community leaders while giving participating not-for-profit boards insight into the next generation’s perspective. Over 250 Observers have participated in the Program, observing on the boards of over 100 not-for-profit organisations. The Observership Program has run in Sydney since 2014 and in Melbourne since 2017. The program provides Observers with first-hand exposure to the role of the board, its decision-making and operations as well as targeted training delivered by AICD and mentorship designed to give Observers important skills to bring to the boardroom. “The Observership Program is in my opinion an outstanding way for the future directors of all levels of Australian business to gain experience in what to do and indeed what not to do around the board table.” David Gonski AC (Patron, The Observership Program)

State Library Victoria is one of Australia's oldest cultural institutions. It is the major reference and research library in Victoria, responsible for collecting and preserving Victoria's documentary heritage and making it available through a range of services and programs. Collections: Reflecting the cultural and social history of Victoria over the last 150 years, State Library Victoria's collections include over two million books and serials, one of Australia's largest newspaper collections, hundreds of thousands of pictures, maps, manuscripts, artefacts and materials in digital and multimedia formats.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years. We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas. With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people. We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation. When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. Together, we are committed to improving the health outcomes for children today and in the future. In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
