Hoteles Poseidon es la marca comercial de Hoteles Devesa S.L.U., sociedad actual que engloba los Hoteles Poseidon,Poseidon Palace y Poseidon Playa de Benidorm asi como el Hotel Playas de Guardamar en Guardamar de Segura. La empresa nació tras una larga experiencia familiar en la hostelería en la ciudad de Benidorm que se remonta a 1928, año en el que el abuelo del actual presidente de la compañía, Pere Joan Devesa, abrió un bar. Posteriormente la familia inauguró una pensión y ya en 1973 los hermanos Domingo y Pere Joan y hermana Josefa Devesa abrieron el primer hotel al que siguieron otros dos hoteles ya en la década de los noventa. Al final del milenio la empresa miró hacia el interior de la Comunidad Valenciana creando el Hotel Alahuar, un pequeño hotel de montaña con encanto en Benimaurell, Vall de Laguar. En el 2007 se abrió el Hotel La Estacion **** de Benidorm y en Febrero del 2011 la compañía reabrió el Hotel Villa de Biar tambien de 4 estrellas en el centro de historico y pintoresco Biar (Alicante) después de 3 meses de renovaciones, habiendo obtenida la concesión del Ayuntamiento de dicho lugar por 30 años. En la actualidad el grupo controla unas 1.469 habitaciones lo que supone unas 3.100 plazas hoteleras con una plantilla de 360 personas en Benidorm,Guardamar, Benimaurell,Vall de Laguar y Biar.
