VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation is Vancouver Coastal Health's primary philanthropic partner, raising funds for specialized adult health services and research for all British Columbians. We partner with donors to drive innovation and sustainable health care at VGH & UBC Hospital, GF Strong Rehab Centre, Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute and Vancouver Community Health Services.

The UBC Portfolio Management Foundation (PMF) provides a small group of select Bachelor of Commerce students with an experience that will provide world-class training in the global capital markets. Our students learn from access to the best investment professionals within and outside of Canada to prepare for careers in investment banking, research, sales and trading, and money management. PMF graduates work in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Toronto, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Hong Kong and elsewhere, and they stay actively involved in the program as mentors and supporters. The endowment has resulted from donations by firms & individuals and retained earnings. A part of the total earnings are used to pay PMF program expenses and to support teaching and research activities in the Sauder School of Business - the remainder of earnings are retained.
