Citrine Angels is an angel investment organization composed of more than 80 women angel investors committed to empowering female founders and funders through investments, education and mentorship. Our focus is to provide the necessary resources, networks, and expertise to cultivate female angel investors into helping female-founded businesses grow and succeed.
In an industry where capital disproportionately goes to men, Citrine Angels is the only angel investing organization in the mid-Atlantic region pledged solely to supporting female founders and funders. Since our founding in late 2019, our members - many of them first time angel investors - have invested more than $1.75M in female founded companies.

"The Foundation for Community Betterment is a national organization dedicated to engaging individuals of all ages in community enhancement by creating an immediate, positive impact on the lives of individuals or organizations that share our philanthropic vision, but who currently lack the means to succeed."
The recipients may be individuals who are having difficulties in life, be it from illness, natural disaster, poverty or just simple bad luck but have also demonstrated generosity, courage and commitment to charitable causes and community generosity, even in the face of their troubles. The foundation also supports organizations that are striving to make a philanthropic impact in their communities and neighborhoods. Our hope is that support from Betterment will be a gift that keeps on giving -- when our recipients continue to positively impact those around them."
