DAI invests in seed and early-stage technology companies with high growth potential. We are a fully-capitalised member-managed investment company made up of more than 100 power angels. We are passionate about entrepreneurs and teams that can take their ideas from proof of concept to traction to scale to exit with drive, energy, laser-focused determination and ambition. Together, we leverage our collective experience as well as our extensive network of contacts to add value to our investees through our ability to open doors and to mentor them. As initial investment, DAI typically deploys between $100,000 to $250,000 in our portfolio companies but our members can, and frequently do, personally co-invest alongside DAI. Total investment amounts can therefore range from $100,000 to $3,000,000 in a first round. We always look for opportunities to co-invest alongside established venture funds with whom we have close relationships. We are happy to act as lead investor where appropriate or required. Integral to our strategy is to double-down on our star performing portfolio companies by participating in the Series A or bridge rounds. We have already undertaken 8 follow-on investments in existing portfolio companies including 4 at Series A. We are very sector agnostic. As long as you are engaging with your customers via proprietary technology and you have a capital-efficient vision to scale the business, we will consider investing in your company.
