Pyreos is a manufacturer of miniature, rugged, pyroelectric, mid-infrared sensors and detectors which respond faster and minimise power consumption. Our approach to connecting cutting-edge technologies with real business opportunities that keep STIHL at the front line of innovation. In exchange, we provide the startups we collaborate with or invest in with long-term partnership opportunities. We invest in startups with a strategic fit in the industries of Forestry, Professional Landscaping, Private Lawn, Garden & Yard, Agriculture and Construction. Through the STIHL Startup Access program we collaborate with startups focusing on process improvements and efficiency gains. Our Venture Clienting activities focus on a variety of areas such as human resources, production, purchasing, logistics, and more.
