Launch Africa Ventures is a frontier Pan-African fund solving the significant funding gap in the Seed to Series A bridge funding investment landscape in Africa. We invest in B2B and B2B2C early-stage, technology-driven startups with strong management teams solving the most meaningful problems on the continent. Our objective is to provide funding in that critical investment phase of a startup to enable scale and growth while creating a sustainable ecosystem.

We connect EU and Africa Innovation Ecosystems. Funded by the European Union (Horizon 2020 programme), ENRICH in Africa is a project designed to bring together core stakeholders from both regions, in order to support and strengthen the European and African innovation ecosystem.

We accelerate highly scalable, post revenue African startups and assist early stage startups with investment readiness.

Serving the underserved and representing the underrepresented, our aim is to bridge the funding and support gap for early stage tech entrepreneurs. We are one of the very few Black woman managed venture capital funds in South Africa and believe our diversity sets us apart.

Cape Town-based AfricArena is the highest impact tech ecosystem accelerator & deal flow platform in Africa. Going into its seventh year, AfricArena has operated in three key spheres that underpin Africa’s economic landscape: tech startups, corporates, and investors (i.e. angel investors, VCs, corporate VCs, and other institutional investors). Through Open Innovation Challenges, in partnership with corporations, AfricArena has brought together these 3 spheres, to foster co-investment and collaboration that can move the economies and people of the continent forward. The 2024 AfricArena Grand Summit, precedes by regional and/or global Summits which this year include Johannesburg, Berlin, Paris, London, Tunisia, Morocco, Cairo, West Africa and Nairobi then leading up to Cape Town in December 2024. We aim to create links and opportunities between startups, investors, established companies and connecting the African continent to the rest of the world.
