Superpowering the European Economy and creating Societal Impact

Global Enabler was established as the vehicle for an exploratory new knowledge domain, coined as Art of Business Creation, in 2011. As the envisioned ‘Professor as a Service’ based offering proved to be too radical for universities, the company had to start looking for new channels and business models to bring its new business creation methods and approaches to market. Desiging and launching Kasvu Open for Chamber of Commerce was the company’s first order as a business. After an extended proof-of-concept stage, Global Enabler came to market as a globally ambitious knowledge investment company, in 2018. During 2018-2020, a community comprising independent Enabler Partners in 30 cities in 20 countries on 5 continents was created. In addition, development to create a digital tool to help ambitious founders identify and communicate resource needs to potential knowledge investors was started. In 2021-2023, boosted by the covid pandemic, Global Enabler was transformed from a hands-on knowledge investment operation into a digital business intelligence service platform. Hippo Enabler Service was developed, and HippoMeter extensively piloted with startups and enablers. By the end of Q1/2023, the company was ready for a restart as Hippo Enabler Oy.
