Microbiotica has a pipeline of highly differentiated clinically-derived products including Live Bacterial Therapeutics and Biomarkers in IBD, Immuno-oncology and Gut Epithelial Barrier Repair. Epsilogen is a global leader in the development of immunoglobulin (IgE) antibodies to treat cancer. IgE has several key features that make it ideal for the treatment of solid tumours including greater potency, enhanced tumour access and a long tissue half-life. The companys lead programme targets the folate receptor alpha (FR alpha) and an anti-FR alpha IgE antibody is currently in a phase I trial to treat ovarian cancer. This is the worlds first IgE therapeutic to enter the clinic.
