We are an education and research institute for socially responsible banking and finance. Since we were founded in 2006, we have grown into an active membership organisation, comprising 16 institutions linked closely to socially responsible banking and finance and a large international network. Our Goals are: * Fostering awareness, commitment, constructive reflection amongst (social) bankers. * Increasing knowledge, competencies and skills in Social Banking. * Bringing forward the ideas, inspiration & spirit of Social Banking. * Supporting innovation and initiatives in the field of Social Banking.

Schoonschip is een van Europa’s meest vooruitstrevende woonwijken op het gebied van slimme en duurzame energie. In deze all-electric wijk beheren we met een Virtuele Energiecentrale (VPP) de slimme warmtepompen, thuisbatterijen en omvormers van 46 huishoudens. Door handel op verschillende energiemarkten blijft energie betaalbaar en ontlasten we het net – met slechts 1/8e van de gebruikelijke netaansluiting. Waarbij bewoners de volledige controle houden over de aansturing.
