Asterion Ventures is an early-stage investment firm focused on systemic impact across Europe, with offices in Paris and Amsterdam and active venture partners in Brussels and Zurich. Impact-focused by design, Asterion backs founders tackling structural challenges across energy, industry, climate risk, health, and physical AI. In four years, Asterion has mobilized nearly €65M into 30 early-stage companies. Its current early-stage fund totals €50M, and Asterion is preparing a new €100M fund. Four portfolio companies are now scaling into Series A/B with top European funds, including Weefin, Spark Cleantech, Everdye, and one soon to be announced; one has already exited. Asterion’s edge lies in scale powered by people: a community of 900+ entrepreneurs and executives invest as business angels, representing roughly 50% of each round. They bring not only capital, but also operational experience, time, and hard-to-access networks. Beyond financing, Asterion has built dedicated programs for exited founders (Life After Exit), women investors (Invest Like a Woman), and entrepreneurial families (Immersion). Its LP base includes founders of French unicorns and European top impact companies such as Back Market, BlaBlaCar, and Too Good To Go, a few corporates and long-term family offices like Entheos, including prominent families from Northern France.

J. Stern & Co. is an independent asset manager based in London, New York, Malta and Zurich, established in 2012, and owned by the Partners. The business builds on the 200-year banking heritage of the Stern Family and particularly on its record of investing globally since the 1950’s. Our investment philosophy is to invest for the long term, using our own research and to invest only in high-quality businesses. These companies have powerful business models in attractive industries. They typically gain share in normal times, taking advantage of disruption, and they have the resilience to weather adverse macro-economic conditions. We manage a small number of differentiated investment strategies on a global basis. These include high-quality, large and mega-cap equities, hard-currency emerging market bonds and specialist direct lending. Our AUMA in December 2025 is US$2.6bn, including approximately 20% owned by the Stern family and the partners. Our clients include institutions, charities, foundations and families, who invest alongside us in widely available daily dealing funds or separately managed accounts.
