Sagar Defence Engineering Pvt. LTD. Is a highly skilled start-up, founded with an aim to provide new innovations and complete Unmanned Marine Vehicles solutions in Commercial, Defence, & Scientific sector. Our organisation is striving to meet the never-ending needs of technological competency in the Maritime sector, as even the smallest problem in water becomes very large and expensive to solve. A suite of self-tuning command controls has been developed and has undergone trials at sea on a range of vehicle modes. A dedicated command control board has been developed and used for remote control of surface vehicles. This offers heading, speed, depth, height and attitude control, together with dynamic positioning and hovering. Sagar Defence Engineering has become a pioneer by launching the first unmanned marine surface vehicle for Indian armed force. The company’s aim’s to build systems and applications which caters for broad range of technology and innovative solutions for the Unmanned Marine, Submarine and Airborne industries relating to various commercial sectors like Oil & Gas, Inland waterways, Oceanography, Disaster Management and scientific research community at large as well Indian Navy, Coast Guard & Border Security forces. HISTORY: NanoSniff Technologies​ is a start-up incubated at SINE, IIT Bombays Business Incubator, and was​ founded by​ Prof. Ramgopal Rao​ and Prof. Soumyo Mukherji​, in 2011. ​It was formed as a commercial spin-off from the Center of Excellence in Nanoelectronics (CEN) at IIT Bombay, and was formed to productize various technologies developed as a part of research work conducted at CEN.
