Problem / opportunity: Across industries, people have to face unpredictable drops in attention and fluctuating mental performance in various contexts. Solution: We developed the first of its kind, non-invasive "brain-rate monitor" (via patented algorithms and specialized hardware) created for environments where lives are at risk or efficiency is critical for success. Functionality: Similar to a heart-rate monitor, the solutions acts like a "brain-rate monitor"​, providing timely feedback on the state and fate of attention. This is achieved by recognizing individual attention patterns and converting these insights into reliable feedback loops. Use Cases: - aviation (flight simulators, pilots and air traffic control) - mobility (trains, busses, trucks, [self-driving] cars) - industrial production control - insurance (accident avoidance derived from our use cases) - military applications (soldier helmets, drone and jet pilots) - gaming / e-sports (game testing of studios, live monitoring of performance, training scenarios) - sports (goalkeeper training) - (virtual) racing training - recruiting and education / e-learning (psychological and performance testing) Why now? Thanks to advances in camera sensitivity and processing power the patent conceptualized by the CEO has now become feasible to be implemented. Competition: Currently the product is facing only indirect competition (the current solutions have no prediction functionality, they only assess the status quo) and our patent provides additional entry barriers for new entrants.
