The JOBS Act (passed in 2012 and enacted in 2016) allows all Americans to invest in startups, which was previously limited to only the wealthy elite. Now, thousands of everyday investors put millions of dollars into startups every year. Despite that, there is still no research and analytics solutions similar to the public market (e.g., Morningstar, Bloomberg, SeekingAlpha, The Motley Fool) to empower individuals to make informed investment decisions. Kingscrowd aims to empower everyone to invest in startups confidently through a suite of products including research, ratings, data analytics, founder interviews, and financial products. Kingscrowd collects hundreds of data points on every startup that raises money online, and our patent-pending algorithm provides a quantitative assessment of the startups investment potential. We believe in the power of data-driven investment decisions.

We’re the Robinhood for pre-IPO startups. Everyone can angel invest $100 in a Community Round. On May 16, 2016, it became legal for everyday people to invest as little as $100 in startups and small businesses. Since then, we’ve helped 1,860 founders raise almost $500M from their community - for flying cars, coffee shops, and everything in between. We’re a Public Benefit Corporation with a mission to revitalize capitalism and keep the American dream alive. GDP growth is slowing. Wealth inequality is increasing. Entrepreneurship is dying across America; falling from 10.6% to 3.6% among those under 30 since 1989. We’re reversing these trends by funding more deserving businesses across all of America, not solely tech startups in Silicon Valley. Want to help? Join us! We’re a team of founder types: enjoy autonomy, responsibility, the opportunity to learn, and no red tape. Just make it happen.
