Yard Stick measures soil carbon. Scientists and farmers alike know that climate-friendly agricultural practices have the potential to remove atmospheric CO2 at gigaton/year scale. When these practices are adopted, more carbon is stored in soils, improving soil health and fighting climate change. But significant measurement challenges have held soil carbon efforts back - until now.
By reducing the cost of soil carbon measurement by 90%+, Yard Stick will dramatically expand the opportunities for evidence-based regenerative practices to simultaneously improve ecosystem health, increase farmer income, and combat climate change.

H2Pro is on a mission to enable affordable green hydrogen at scale by providing the world with the leading next generation electrolyzer.
Green hydrogen is the missing piece in the puzzle for achieving net zero, but faces two critical challenges: economic viability and compatibility with renewables. H2Pro is reinventing green hydrogen production to overcome these barriers and deliver the lowest Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH).
H2Pro’s breakthrough electrolysis technology solves the key challenges of traditional electrolysis by decoupling hydrogen and oxygen generation (producing hydrogen and oxygen at separate times). This decoupled process significantly cuts down both capital and operating costs via a streamlined membrane-less reactor design, economical materials, and highly efficient energy usage. H2Pro’s technology is also designed from day one for direct renewable integration, making it the first fit-for-green electrolyzer.
Headquartered in Caesarea, Israel, H2Pro was founded in 2019 based on years of research conducted at the Technion. H2Pro has raised over 100 Million USD. It is backed by leading investors and strategic partners, including Bill Gates-founded Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Temasek Holdings, Horizons Ventures, ArcelorMittal, Yara Growth Ventures, OurCrowd, COPEC, Hyundai, Sumitomo Corporation, Extantia, Bazan, Doral and New Fortress Energy. Today, we are a team of 100 people working every day to make green hydrogen affordable at scale. The future of our planet may depend on it.

Terra CO2, based in Golden, Colorado, has developed a scalable, low carbon alternative for cement replacement in concrete. Our engineered OPUS SCM is a direct replacement for fly ash. OPUS Zero is our future zero CO2 emissions inorganic polymer cement. OPUS Zero is currently in concrete trial phase.
For every ton of Portland cement displaced by a Terra product, a 70% reduction in CO2 emissions is achieved.
Introducing: OPUS
Made with abundant, inexpensive, climate-friendly feedstocks.
Today, cement production accounts for 8% of all greenhouse gas emissions worldwide. We replace up to 40% of cement in concrete with climate-friendly, cost-competitive supplementary and alternative cementitious materials. With appropriate mix design the concrete mix can be made cost competitive and with no compromise in performance properties.
Our Opus products use abundantly available silicate rocks that can be sourced from existing aggregate mines close to any major market. This creates a huge advantage because it works at scale, using existing infrastructure.

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Woburn, Massachusetts, VEIR is a U.S.-based designer and manufacturer of category-defining superconducting power delivery systems built for the extreme energy demands of the AI era. By commercializing next-generation superconducting technology into deployable systems, VEIR delivers ~10x higher power density than conventional options, enabling “speed-to-power” where incremental optimization falls short. VEIR’s initial focus is AI data centers behind the meter, with solutions engineered for repeatable deployment at scale. Built to power progress.

ESS Inc. is a leading provider of long-duration (4+ hours) energy storage solutions ideally suited for C&I, utility, microgrid and off-grid applications. Our iron flow battery, the Energy Warehouse (EW), is capable of up to 8 continuous hours of energy delivery with a 20+ year operating life and no capacity degradation. Composed of earth-abundant iron, salt and water for its electrolyte, the EW is a safe, long-lasting solution with the lowest levelized cost of storage (LCOS) per kWh.
ESS was founded in 2011 by a team with deep experience in fuel cells, electrochemistry, advanced material science, and renewable energy. After 5 years of extensive innovation, engineering development, and rigorous validation, backed by ARPA-E and others, we began shipping turn-key battery solutions in 2016. In 2017, BASF, the worlds leading chemical company, became a significant investor in ESS, joining forces with us to deliver energy storage solutions for a sustainable future.
