Mensa es una asociación de personas de alto cociente intelectual (CI), fundada en Inglaterra en el año 1946 y que está presente en España desde 1984. Mensa acepta como socios a personas cuyo CI esté dentro del 2 % superior de la población general y les ofrece la posibilidad de enriquecerse con la compañía mutua y de participar en un amplio abanico de actividades. Desde su fundación, la asociación es apolítica y aconfesional y está libre de cualquier tipo de discriminación. Mensa tiene definidos tres objetivos: identificar y promover la inteligencia en beneficio de la humanidad; impulsar la investigación sobre la naturaleza, las características y los usos de la inteligencia; y proporcionar a sus socios un entorno social e intelectual estimulante. Mensa tiene más de 120.000 socios en todo el mundo repartidos en 100 países, con organizaciones nacionales activas en más de 40. Mensa España tiene actualmente más de 2.400 socios. Mensa España pone a disposición de todas las empresas, consultoras y universidades del país su Bolsa de Trabajo, mediante la cual se pueden difundir gratuitamente ofertas de empleo y oportunidades profesionales, así como informaciones que puedan ser de interés, dentro de la estrategia de reclutamiento de personas con altas capacidades, para sus procesos de atracción y selección de talento.
