Grown from the needs of college students in Leuven (Belgium), the project Quivr was founded. Quivr consists of a user friendly website and a free mobile application made available on all major mobile operating systems (iOS, Android and Windows Phone). The Quivr website and mobile application features include a clear and customizable schedule, a live library occupancy monitor, a database with KUL-personnel and a navigation system able to guide the student to any college course. Moreover, our newest ‘alma feature’ incorporates every menu and price of all student restaurants in Leuven into the mobile application. Using Quivr, educational needs can be addressed by any Leuven student, anytime, anywhere.
