The Lisbon Club was launched in December of 2016, as an outcome of the Lisbon Conferences project, an initiative of seven institutions, to which six individual members joined as founders of the Lisbon Club. It is our aim to increase knowledge, promote critical thinking and new perspectives to address global challenges, in order to influence political agendas and deepen the study and discussion of issues that affect our life in community and that impact on the sustainability of the planet and on the standards of living of future generations.

Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) is recognized by the Portuguese State as a free, autonomous university institution of public utility. UCP is recognized for the quality of its teaching, excellence in research, and education for citizenship and human values, boasting amongst its alumni several of the top CEO’s in the world, and recognized leaders in European politics, international law, economics and the arts. With the project Training for Resilience - a value for the future the Universidade Católica aims at: - Graduating 669 more graduates in STEAM areas - Increase the participation of + 5 537 adults in skills reconversion programmes - Benefit 21 334 students by reinforcing the quality of infrastructures - Develop + 3 Post-Graduate Alliances/Schools Inserted in the Recovery and Resilience Plan, the project has a total funding of 8,563,495 €

Criada em 2007, a SOFID tem como objetivo contribuir para o crescimento económico de países emergentes e em vias de desenvolvimento, articulando com os objetivos e a estratégia do Estado Português em matéria de economia, cooperação e ajuda pública ao desenvolvimento. Através da oferta de serviços e produtos financeiros junto de empresas privadas ou públicas (desde que geridas de forma comercial), a SOFID deve contribuir para o incremento das relações a nível produtivo e comercial entre Portugal e os países emergentes e em desenvolvimento, de modo a estimular o seu progresso económico e social. O financiamento de atividades privadas sustentáveis é um pilar fundamental para o desenvolvimento económico e social de países em transição.
