How We Began... Having just completed college, where I graduated from the University of Maryland, I was faced with the realities of post-grad life. At the time, it was the heart of the summer season and when I wasnt spending my days job searching, I spent the rest of my time outdoors. Whether I was down the shore, on a golf course, sitting by a pool or doing anything else under the sun, I always brought sunglasses with me. I always needed a pair of sunglasses that was durable enough to withstand an active lifestyle and simple enough to not break the bank, but I could never find exactly what I wanted. Thats when I decided to make it myself. That summer I came up with my first concept design, which eventually became Brooktide Originals. Where We Are Today...
