Founded in 2014 and based in Luxembourg, Castik is a Private Equity investment manager acquiring majority ownership positions in European companies where long-term value can be generated through active partnership with management teams and founders. We focus on creating market leading firms by consolidating highly fragmented markets, investing in high-quality, growing businesses led by strong management teams and backed by secular trends. Our sector focus covers technology-enabled business services, software and internet platforms, specialist healthcare, and industrial technology. We work with our portfolio companies to accelerate growth trajectories by accessing new markets, add-on M&A or developing the core business through, for example, digitalisation or innovative products or technology. The advisor to Castik Capital S.à r.l (“Castik”) is Castik Capital Partners GmbH, based in Munich. Investments are made by EPIC III (2024), the Luxembourg-based fund managed by Castik, which held its final close at €2 billion. Castik’s first fund, EPIC I (2015), had a volume of €1 billion. The second fund, EPIC II (2020), had a volume of €1.3 billion. EPIC I b (2021) had a volume of €0.7 billion and is a single asset fund that owns a controlling stake in Waterlogic/Culligan.
