The Foundation was created with ambitious goals and broad horizons. It has over 60 patrons, who have already made it an institution with a great stability and a large capacity of potential development. The Prince of Girona Foundation was set up on 26 June 2009 at the initiative of Girona Chamber of Commerce, Caixa Girona, the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation and “la Caixa”, which have since been joined by more than 60 patrons. The Foundations main objective is to work for Spains young people in all areas that are critical for their future.
